Hair Loss Treatment For Women – If You Want A Serious Improvement To Your Thinning, Think Natural

There are lots of products you can buy that are supposed to help stimulate new hair growth. However any hair loss treatment for women you try should be supported by proven scientific evidence and satisfied users who have come before you.

Your hair thinning, shedding and balding can be caused by several factors, but the most common problem is when your hair follicle is attacked by an enzyme called 5-a reductase.

An over abundance of it causes too much DHT production which effectively starts to strangle your hair follicle, miniaturizes it and any new hair strand, ultimately the hair strand will shrivel and eventually die.

So the general idea with any good hair loss treatment is to inhibit the proliferation of DHT.

The best natural solution that I have come across uses a two level approach consisting of a supplement containing vitamins, minerals and herbs that are known to nourish and encourage new hair growth. Along with a topically applied substance that effectively blocks DHT production, and also helps to prolong the growth cycle of new hair.

Lets look at these 2 issues in more detail:

Using natural substances to promote hair and nail growth is nothing new our ancestors had been doing it for hundreds of years. However what they didn’t know is if you use several of them in combination, you create a more powerful effect.

Combining Vitamin B6, Biotin (vitamin B7), Magnesium, Horsetail and Para-aminobenzoic acid together in a supplement taken daily supplies all the essential nutrients you need to promote new hair and nail growth, while at the same time being supportive of proper immune function.

The second form of attack is by the daily topical application of FDA approved Minoxidil 2% which helps inhibit the enzyme 5-a reductase that causes excessive DHT buildup on your hair follicles.

This two-step approach seems to have worked for thousands of satisfied users based on feedback I have seen when researching the subject.

Whether this hair loss treatment for women would work for you remains to be seen!

However based on the options I’ve come across so far — this solution would appear to be the safest of it’s kind and I get the impression it is also the most effective.

Choosing Effective Hair Loss Products for Women

Hair loss products for women are now available in the market. Hair loss is commonly known for men and not often for women. It is because men secrete more DihydroTestosterone (DHT) hormone that causes the pattern baldness. The fact that women and men have different levels of hormones supports the idea that the hair losses for men and women have different level of causes as well.

This will conclude that the treatment for the women’s hair loss should be diverse as compared to men. That is why the hair loss products for women were created to provide a remedy for this condition.

There are many reasons why women acquire hair loss and one of the most common causes is polycystic ovary syndrome, a common hormonal problem in women. Another reason is alopecia areata, which cause by the autoimmune disorders and has lesser effect compare to the polycystic ovary syndrome but hair come out in clumps or patches.

One more reason would be genetic predisposition where in the layman’s term it means” it runs in the blood”. Some other reasons are stress, aging (especially during menopause), medical treatment side effects etc.

Hair loss products for women come in different forms like hormonal pills, shampoo, cream, herbal etc. The best hair loss products for women are those have ingredients that combat hormones or genes, which cause this condition. The most common type of hair loss is the Female Pattern Baldness (FPB). The finest remedy for this type of condition would be the tropical solution with Minoxidil and dietary supplement with hair nourishment. Minoxidil is the only hair re-growth ingredient for a woman that is FDA approved.

This stimulates the scalp particularly the hair follicles to help the hair grow again. Dietary supplements give the body good nutrition. Nourishing hair follicles in the most natural way will result to healthier and stronger hair growth. Using vitamins, minerals and herbs are very effective since its natural and our body will tend to absorb it easily and would react to it positively.

Hair loss for women could lead to traumatic experience since you are very particular in your appearance. Good thing that now there are plenty of hair loss products for women out in the market to help provide a solution to this problem. It depends on the cause of the hair loss, and how your body reacts to the particular remedy, you will use to treat the condition. It would really depend on what particular product you would choose, but it would be best to select the finest and the most effective natural hair loss products for women.

Women’s Hair Thinning and Balding Can Be Controlled And New Hair Growth Stimulated Naturally

Hair thinning and balding affects nearly 100,000,000 American men and women in one way or another.

However it’s worse for women because our Western society values place beauty and attractiveness as fundamental to being accepted as normal, and of course being appealing to the opposite sex.

Therefore, it’s easy to understand why so many women — especially younger ones get so frustrated and down when they suffer from thinning hair or intermittent bald patches.

Many women resort to any sneaky method they can come up with to try and hide their shedding and balding problem — like wigs and hair pieces, after all anything goes when you’re trying to look after one of your most treasured attributes.

Most women who suffer from these problems are already aware there are quite a variety of treatments aimed at helping people in their situation.

Hair replacement is arguably one of the best solutions, however it’s beyond the reach of most ordinary people and I’m led to believe it can be quite a painful and a drawn out exercise.

You can always think about trying some old-fashioned remedies like eating certain types of natural plants, berries, fruits and vegetables that are supposed to promote new hair growth. In reality you will more than likely feel healthier because of your improved diet, but I don’t think this strategy is likely to give you a satisfactory solution to your thinning and balding problem.

There are hundreds of shampoos on the market that contain vitamins, minerals and herbs, which are thought to help promote stronger, and healthier nails skin and hair. But these products are also unlikely to be very beneficial because most of the ingredients in them are not readily absorbed into your skin when topically applied.

Under the circumstances it’s highly likely the best way to help your thinning and balding issue is by using one of the well-known products on the market that are specifically designed to help stimulate new hair growth.

There are a few of them available, however the one that seems to be helping ordinary women have some success at reducing their thinning problem uses a two-part approach of taking natural supplements and an external topically applied DHA inhibitor.

In my opinion there just isn’t an easy way to help your thinning and balding issue. You have to be realistic before starting any treatment and understand it will take 4 to 6 months before you start getting positive results depending on where your hair cycle is at when you start, and it’s an ongoing commitment thereafter.

If you want to learn more about a product that is helping many people with their hair thinning, balding and shedding issues, that may be able to help you, visit my website below.

Hair Loss in Women, Vitamin Deficiency – Important Vitamins That You May Be Lacking

Most people don’t realize this, but vitamin deficiency can be a cause of hair loss and thinning hair. This is especially true for women because they are more prone to hormonal imbalances than men are.

Women can have hormonal imbalances during and after pregnancy, during menopause, and even during menstruation. If they are lacking certain vitamins it could only enhance these imbalances. This is why hair loss, women, and vitamin deficiency are so closely related. I have researched the vitamins that you could be lacking, so here they are:

Vitamin A

A deficiency in this vitamin can cause your hair and skin to feel dry and coarse. Be careful with this vitamin though because too much of it can actually cause loss of hair.

Vitamin E

This vitamin is important because it prevents the loss of hair and stalls the graying process. Taking this vitamin could cause a rise in your blood pressure, so consult your doctor before you start taking this.

Inositol (B-Vitamin)

If you lack this vitamin, it could cause balding and a chronic skin disorder that causes itchy scaly skin known as eczema. It keeps your hair and scalp healthy and can even lower your cholesterol levels.

Biotin (Vitamin H)

This is important for preventing balding and the graying of hair. It also promotes healthy skin and nails. It is found in most hair loss treatments.

Protein

If your body is lacking protein, it will try to save protein by putting growing hair in a resting phase.

Zinc (Trace Mineral)

Zinc is very important because it is a vital part of most of the bodily processes. Processes like cell reproduction, hormonal balance, the absorption of vitamins, and protein synthesis. Now you can see how important zinc is, because of all of the vitamins needed to maintain healthy hair.

Now that you know this, you can make an informed decision on if vitamin deficiency is the cause of your hair loss. I hope that this article helped you to see what hair loss, women, and vitamin deficiency have in common. It is important to understand that your body needs its vitamins in order to remain healthy. If you are not eating a balanced diet, it is important to supplement those vitamins.

Scalp Hair Loss – Preventive Measures Women Need To Know To Prevent Scalp Hair Loss

On average, everyone loses 50-100 hairs per day, which is completely normal. In some cases, however, much more hair is lost on a daily basis, known as excessive hair loss. There are many things that can cause this condition, from medication and exposure to chemicals, to hormonal and nutritional deficiencies. Luckily, there are many ways to help prevent excessive hair loss before it becomes a problem, particularly for women.

While many men will experience hair loss in a specific pattern (known as male pattern baldness), women who suffer from excessive hair loss will experience thinning hair all over their head with no pattern. Hair loss of this type is caused by the androgen Dihydrotestosterone. Another cause of excessive hair loss in women is childbirth. During pregnancy, it is normal for women to have thick, luxurious hair. About three months after delivery, this thick hair begins to shed at a rapid pace. This is caused by a hormonal imbalance of testosterone. In these cases, hormone therapy should correct the problem.

Nutrition is also an important factor in preventing excessive hair loss. Women with diets that lack adequate amounts of protein and iron are more susceptible to thinning hair than women who eat healthy, balanced meals. Fad and crash diets as well as eating disorders have been known to cause scalp hair breakage, which leads to excessive hair loss. It is important to eat healthy and take a daily multivitamin supplement as a preventative measure.

It is not uncommon for women to color or use other harsh chemical treatments on their hair. Unfortunately, the quest for beauty is another common cause of hair thinning and loss. Even using a flat or curling iron on a regular basis can cause significant damage to otherwise healthy hair. If the cost of visiting a professional for hair treatments is too steep, always be sure to follow the directions on at-home products carefully to avoid damaging the hair shaft.

While some hair loss is normal, excessive hair loss can be an embarrassing condition. Luckily, following the simple steps outlined here can help prevent further hair loss, and may even help reverse some of the damage. A healthy diet, hormone therapy, and following directions when using chemicals on your hair can go a long way to prevent hair loss.

How To Stop Thinning Hair in Women: 3 Key Prevention Tips

Prevention of thinning hair in women is not as difficult as it may appear.  Only about 2% of the female population suffers from severe causes of female thinning hair that must be treated medically with drugs. Hair loss treatment for the majority of women is often as simple as following some basic hair loss prevention techniques that involve brushing, shampooing and hair conditioning.

The foundation of any preventative measures with respect to thinning hair in women is  an understanding of the basic anatomy of the hair itself. The outer bed of each hair  barb, known as the cuticle, is compiled of overlapping, scale-like cells. If the hair is  cared for gently and the suitable balance of moisture and oils plus acidity is kept up,  these cells lie down flat, and the hair shaft is smooth and glossy. If the cuticle gets dry,  broken, or frayed away, the hair is dim, lifeless, and unwieldy. The sun, hot  appliances, teasing, coloring, straightening, or a lasting waving all tend to decompose the hair’s cuticle. Proper maintenance helps sustain healthy hair.

Tip #1: Brushing
Brush your hair one time or twice each day, particularly prior to shampooing, to circulate scalp  oils and to preclude tangling. The rougher and denser your hair is, the stiffer the brush  bristles ought to be. They can be nylon, plastic, or natural (boar bristle), but should have  rounded tips and smooth shafts. To brush correctly, bow at the waistline and lightly and slowly draw the brush through your hair from the nape of the neck frontwards. This protects  the more delicate hair at the crown of your head and about your face.

Tip #2: Shampooing
If you shampoo each day, lather hair just once (twice, if the hair is really oily or scalp is  sweaty) and condition it. With less frequent washing, the general pattern is to lather twice.  Shampoo cleanses with a concoction of detergents and water; any additional components such as  herbs, protein, beer, or oils may bestow a pleasant aroma or feel, improve  manageability, or add luster. Whether advertised so or not, virtually all shampoos are pH  balanced to protect the cuticle. The most effective way to shampoo is in the shower with your  back to the spray. Wet your hair thoroughly, lather the shampoo between your palms,  and apply it to your hair and scalp. Do not pile your hair on top of your head; rather,  begin with a scalp massage, using the balls of your fingers, not your nails, then work the  shampoo down the hair strands. When lathering is completed, rinse off your hair repeatedly  until it feels free of shampoo, then rinse off once again. Lift parts of long hair to be sure the spray of water gets through underneath.

Tip #3: Conditioning
Conditioners make hair more manageable by nullifying the electric charges caused by shampooing and combing out: many brands also have oils, proteins, and silicone to  add shininess. Study conditioner labels and experiment to find out which is correct for  your hair. Put on a conditioner following each shampoo, according to label instructions. Wash  soundly. If your hair is inclined to be oily, condition just the ends. If your hair is fine and  also oily, try conditioning prior to shampooing. Dry your hair by blotting (not rubbing)  on a towel. Untangle wet hair with your fingers or a wide-tooth comb, beginning with the  ends and going backwards towards the scalp. Do not brush delicate wet hair! Air dry your hair  as often as convenient; then use a hair dryer, curlers, or a curling iron exclusively for finishing up.

Closely abiding by these basic thinning hair in women prevention tips will help to stop, or at least slow down, many of the normal causes of female thinning hair.

Hair Loss Treatment for Women – Learn About The Best Ingredients To Grow Your Hair Back

The secret of a successful hair loss treatment for women is in the blend of synergistic ingredients used and the only FDA approved ingredient for female pattern baldness. Once you have these, you can soon look forward to seeing new growth each month.

Probably the star of the show is Minoxidil, FDA approved and a topical solution that you apply directly to your scalp to encourage new growth and boost your circulation. Although it does not grow new hair, it works by blocking the DHT and prolonging the growth phase of hair – providing more time for hair to grow out to its full density.

DHT is the hormone that is at the root cause of female and male pattern baldness as it constricts the follicles until the hair becomes so weak it falls out.

Horsetail is a herb extract that’s been used since the Roman times and is great for improving your circulation and bringing blood rich in oxygen to your hair follicles and promoting growth.

No hair loss treatment for women would be complete without the most important vitamins and minerals that build and maintain healthy and strong hair. Vitamin B6, magnesium, zinc and biotin all play an important role and help to boost your overall health too.

The main difference these special ingredients have is that they have been proven in clinical studies to work, and though they take time to show the results, they remain the best and most sustainable way to grow your hair back.

The sooner you start, the better the outcome will be and keeping a photo diary is a good method of tracking your progress as you may not notice new growth on a weekly basis otherwise.

If you look for these ingredients in the best hair loss treatment for women, you can soon look forward to the return of healthy new growth, along with improved confidence and self-esteem.

Hairloss in Men and Women

The most personally disturbing time in a man or woman’s late twenties is not the feeling of failure, or success. Rather it’s the advent of  hair loss. Yes, in our teens, we gloried in our full heads of hair, luscious long, glossy locks and never having to care about what products we use or abuse our hair with.

Now, you shower and look down. You rinse your hair, running your fingers through your mass. And there you have it. Clogged drain. Strands upon strands in between your fingers. Distressing. And this phenomenon you tell yourself will pass, lasts and lasts.

The cause for hairloss amongst men and women do vary slightly. For men, it’s the dreaded term: Male Pattern Baldness. For women, it’s commonly known as hormonal imbalance. But here are some common reasons for the hair loss. Most are not permanent and therefore if you address these issues, you’ll find yourself regaining your true crowning glory!

1) Psychological reasons – most commonly known as stress. If you have any sudden or ongoing emotional stress, anxiety or trauma, you might find that you will have hairloss or thinning of your hair. This trend is not permanent and you will find that it stops as soon as the emotional stress does.

2) Physiological reason– the main hair producer hormone in our bodies is testosterone. But one of its derivatives, dihydrotestosterone (DHT) causes the hair follicle to shrink.

3) Hereditary factor – it’s true if you come from a family where one or two persons have suffered hair loss, you might too!

4) Hygiene – look. If your scalp isn’t healthy or clean, do you think your hair would want to live there? Keep it clean, fungus free, airy.

5) Medication – there are some drugs and especially radiation therapy that unfortunately causes either the halt of the hair growth phase of hair follicles or cause the hairs to shed at the same time.

6) Others– pregnancy. Hair pulling (caused by pulling your hair into a ponytail too often, or using a curling tong too tightly). Oil buildup (called sebum). Menopause. All these can also cause hairloss over time.

Now. I’m sure you’ve been able to identify with at least one of the above. For me, I was extremely distressed with the hairloss I encountered some months ago (the trend lasted a long time). Looking back, I can conclude it was a mixture of stress (I was going through a tough time at work), I had developed an oily scalp and I used a lot of curling tongs and ponytails (I had long hair). Since then, I’ve washed my hair with a special shampoo to clear the sebum at least twice a week (other times I wash with normal shampoo). I’ve cut my hair (so the loss isn’t so apparent!!).

But for those with more severe hairloss, till you can see the hair thinning, I recommend a combination of supplements, hair tonic and shampoos specially suited to keep the health of the scalp at optimum levels, increase the blood flow to the scalp (as to promote healthy function of follicles and roots) by using the laser haircomb. I’ve recommended this system to many people who have had quite severe hair loss (bald patches, visible thinning) and they have experienced regrowth you can’t imagine! So there IS a solution. And you have the power to alter your habits and do something about it! Remember! Your crowning glory remains with you only as long as you take care of it!

6 Reasons For Hair Loss in Young Women, (And How to Reverse It)

Hair loss in young women is relatively uncommon but is not unheard of. Whilst male pattern baldness in men is much more common, in some cases right from their teenage years, thinning hair in young women is unusual. However it does occur and here’s 6 reasons why a young woman might be noticing some form of balding, and how to restore hair growth for those women.

1. Childbirth can cause some balding in young women or older women however this is relatively normal, though not common, and should reverse itself after the event.

2. Hormonal imbalances can also cause a young woman to experience hair loss, sometimes sudden hair loss. Hormonal imbalances can occur for a range of reasons and if you’re a young woman experiencing hair thinning you ought to consult your doctor to see if there is some underlying medical problem that needs treatment. Once the hormonal imbalance is treated the hair thinning should reverse.

Hormonal imbalances can also occur from starting or changing some forms of birth control method and your doctor also should be asked if this applies to you.

3. Young women can also suffer from a condition called polycystic ovary syndrome. Polycystic ovary syndrome is an endocrine disorder that affects around 5 percent of young women and can itself result in some form of thinning hair in young women. It is a result of overproduction of the hormone testosterone and can also cause an increase in the growth of hair on the body, the legs and chest just as increase in testosterone does in men.

Polycystic ovary syndrome can be difficult to treat but if treated successfully the thinning hair should reverse.

4. Thyroid problems can cause hair loss in young women and again it would be normal to expect the balding to reverse once the thyroid problem is successfully treated.

5. Young women are extremely conscious of their looks and many seek to diet to lose weight. Whilst losing weight is a good thing many fad diets and crash diets are extremely low in essential nutrients. Just like the other organs in the body your hair needs an adequate supply of nutrients to be healthy and if your hair is deprived of adequate nutrients by reason of your diet it can become unhealthy, thin and die.

If this is the case you should restore a diet high in essential nutrients found in fresh fruit and vegetables, and this should reverse your hair loss as well as improve your health and help with your weight control program.

6. And finally one of the major causes of hair loss in women, including thinning hair in young women, though more common in older women, is female pattern baldness. Just like men women can also suffer genetically inherited hair thinning though this usually manifests itself differently to the way it does in men and tends to result more in thinning of the hair than in complete bald patches.

Regardless it is still embarrassing and young women with thinning hair due to female pattern baldness often feel very upset about this.

The good news is that the FDA have approved one product for use as a hair restoration product for women, and this product is called minoxidil and it is approved at a 2 percent concentration. Studies have shown that this will, for many women though not all, restore hair growth in cases of female pattern baldness.

The actual mechanism in female pattern baldness is that a hormone called DHT (dihydrotestosterone) slowly strangles the hair follicle and reduces its ability to absorb nutrients thereby decreasing the health of the hair leading to hair thinning and eventually to individual hairs dying and falling out. These are not replaced as effectively as they would be normally.

Minoxidil is thought to improve the blood flow to the hair follicle thereby improving the supply of nutrients. One company has seen an opportunity to improve the effectiveness of minoxidil by including a range of essential hair nutrients to be taken orally with 2 percent minoxidil on the premise that if the minoxidil increases the blood flow to the hair follicle then the hair regrowth should occur better when all essential hair nutrients are available.

This approach seems to work.

So there you have 6 causes of hair loss in young women. If you’re a young woman experiencing thinning hair, and in particular sudden or patchy hair loss, you should consult your doctor. If you are suffering from female pattern baldness the good news is that there is an approved product that has been clearly shown to the satisfaction of the FDA to reverse hair loss in women.

To find out which product combines minoxidil with a range of essential hair nutrients to improve your likely outcome visit my website.

Women Loss of Hair – A Home Treatment May Help

The majority of people on the world today are still not in tune to the fact that many women do suffer a loss of hair at any age. For those who experience it, this situation can seem more than a little frustrating as they need to be able to deal with it and other peoples perception of them.

Over the ages, the topic of hair loss is always aligned with the males and no one looks twice at a man who is losing their hair. When it happens to a woman, the situation is different and for whatever reason, other people are not as accepting to seeing a female with hair loss. Blame it on the media or lack of education or a number of other things. But this is true.

Because of this negative impact from other peoples reactions, women who are in this position can suffer depression or any number of other emotional related illnesses. Even if it is just a lack of self confidence, it is not a nice thing for any woman of any age to experience.

So what is deemed as normal for males, the same hair loss problem may require the female to seek professional help in the form of counselling if she has been affected by the whole issue. And there are other avenues of support such as online help groups and many books which give advice on ways to cope.

As far looking for a solution to help the problem, a lot of women would like to keep the involvement of other people to a minimum. If that is the case, then the option would be to choose a home treatment to help combat the loss of hair.

There are a lot of home treatments for sale but only a few will give good results. When looking for a home treatment for female hair loss, one of the names which keep appearing is a product called Provillus. This is a popular product as it is made specifically for females, contains all natural ingredients and comes with a money back guarantee.

But the first stop for any female who is losing their hair would be to speak with their doctor to make sure that the problem is not being caused by illness or any type of medical condition. It is the best place to start and once the person has a good idea of the cause, then finding a solution will be more straight forward.

Provillus for Women is an FDA approved hair loss solution specific to the needs of female hair loss. For reviews and information, visit the Provillus Women site.
