Question by MiMiLuvsU: There is this model who wrote a blog on planetary crunch and she states that she was anorexic?
There is this model who wrote a blog on global grind and she states that she was anorexic for about 7 yrs. In her blog she says “I cut my hair because I’m losing my hair, its actually falling out but I’m on the road to the recovery. For the third time in my life I am undergoing treatments to prevent more hair loss.” Now my question is if she no longer suffers from “anorexia” then why is she losing hair? As well as, going for treatment for the hair loss when your in recovery for anorexia it stops falling out? Am I right or wrong about that? So what is with her going for “treatment for her hairloss” when she states that it was from being anorexic? To me I don’t believe that she was ever anorexic. Do you think that this model is just saying that for publicity and trying to gain a fanbase and have people feel sorry for her? Also, to me if she was “anorexic” and has that mental unstability then why would she go on another diet to lose more weight to enter a fitness competition that doesn’t make sense to me. So please elaborate on this and give me ur opinion. I just believe she is a fake person.

FIRST, anorexia can damage a lot of functions in the body and even after treatment a lot of things could remain (like hair loosing); – SECOND, instead of anorexic behaviour she was recommended normal weight control methodologies – discover all about anorexia – see section HOT TOPICS
What do you think? Answer below!
Even if she is in recovery she can still keep losing hair until her weight gets back up to the levels where it should be. Recovering anorexics might think they are in recovery when they gain 5lbs but they really need to gain 25lbs to get back to a healthy weight. And anorexia is so damaging that some people never get a full head of hair back and always have problems with hair loss. One of the girls I work with was anorexic when she was a teen and now in her 30s still suffers from bald patches and hair loss even though she is nowhere near anorexic or even underweight
