whats the difference between disodium laureth sulfosuccinate and SODIUM LAUREL SULFATE as far as hairloss?
I KNOW SODIUM LAUREL SULFATE causes hairloss and is damaging to your scalp and your body but how about disodium laureth sulfosuccinate?? IS THAT ONE OKAY??
From what I know sodium laurel sulfate is a surfactant that can cause irritation but not hair loss. Disodium laureth sulfosuccinate is a de-greasing agent. Surfactants reduce surface tension between water and oil. De-greasing agents are used to remove excessive sebaceous secretions and scale from the skin. They aren’t the same but both are used in shampoos and other skin care products.
